IAU Symposium 208 proceedings information

Please sign and return the copyright transfer form included in the conference kit DURING the symposium.

The deadline for the manuscript is October 1st 2001. The latex style file (newasp.sty from ASP) is here and sample file (instruction) is here (PS file)

Page limits are 12 pages (reviews), 10 pages (invited talks), 8 pages (contributed talks) and 2 pages (posters). Guidelines for the preparation of the manuscript is here (ASP web page)

Please send the tex source file and figures (PostScript figures only) to :

When sending the tex source and figures electronically, please follow the instructions below.

(a) First create a single archive file. We would recommend a compressed tar format. Since either of the editors have very little knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, other formats may cause headaches to both of you and the editors.

(b) Send the file as an attachment, or as a uuencoded file. In either case, please make the subject line as:

Your_last_name
No space character is allowed. If you submit more than one paper (for example, a talk and a poster), add a unique identifier at the end of the name. For example, my first paper would have the subject field

and second one would have "makino2" If you have very large figure files (>20MB) or cannot prepare your contribution in Latex, please consult the editors (makino@astron.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp)
