IRAS sources in the galactic disk, and , have been observed in the SiO maser lines and near-infrared J, H, and K bands. These sources are in the direction of the near end of the galactic bar. The measured J, H, and K magnitudes were used to obtain bolometric corrections for the objects. Assuming a constant luminosity for these sources, we calculated the luminosity distances to the sources. Combining the distances with the radial velocities obtained by SiO maser observations, we found that the sources with distances of about 5.5 kpc from the Sun exhibit a large deviation from the galactic rotation. The large standard deviation of the radial velocities for stars at around 5.5 kpc might be explained by some effect in a bar potential of the Galaxy.
